Add and configure packages

Next you need to add Okta to your application by installing our SDK.

Install the SDK

• Android
• iOS
• React Native

Use the library OktaOidc, available through CocoaPods.

To install it, add the following line to your Podfile:

pod 'OktaOidc'

Now install the dependency and open the auto-generated workspace file:

pod install

Configure the SDK

You need the following values from the Okta Application and the Developer Console that you worked with in Create an okta application:

• Client ID — Find it in the applications list or on the application's General tab.
• Okta Domain — Find it on the Developer Console dashboard in the upper-right corner as the Org URL.

Note: Your Okta domain is different from your admin domain. Don't include -admin in your Okta domain.

You'll also need the full redirect URI that you defined in Define a callback route.

Create a configuration object in code:

Then create the OktaOidc object:

let oktaOidc = OktaOidc(configuration: configuration)

Or, create a new Okta.plist file in your application's bundle with the following fields:

Then create the OktaOidc object without passing any configuration:
